The HHH Center will serve to preserve and protect the Kevarim (graves) on Har Hazeisim and as a continual presence for the safety and security of all visitors to Har Hazeitim, whether visiting loved ones or coming to learn about our rich Jewish history on and around Har Hazeitim and perpetuate the memory of over 150,000 souls interred on HH over the past 3 millenia.

The Yahrzeit
In Jewish tradition, Yahrzeit marks the anniversary of a loved one’s passing. The Wall of Life transforms this annual remembrance into a lasting tribute.
The International Committee for Har Hazeitim, founded 15 years ago by brothers Menachem and Abe Lubinsky, has been working closely with the Israeli government to eliminate vandalism, criminal acts, neglect and disrepair from our oldest and holiest Jewish cemetery.
The improved sense of security facilitated by the installation of hundreds of cameras monitored at a 24/7 security center, police substation, fencing and other measures, has brought back significant numbers of visitors and tourists to Har Hazeitim.

As a result of these improvements, there are now tours, concerts, special Yahrzeit gatherings, and with the imminent completion of the Heritage Center in 2027 many visitors will be able to journey through 3000 years of Jewish history, which includes key figures like Rav Ovadia of Bartenura, Zechariah the Prophet, the Ohr HaChayim, Menachem Begin and Henrietta Szold.
